1. In short
RKNKT only uses cookies that are needed to log you in and keep your account secure. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Because these cookies are strictly necessary, we don't ask for permission first. If we ever add a cookie that isn't necessary, we'll ask you before it's set.
More about how we handle your data: Privacy Policy.
2. Necessary cookies
All of them are set by RKNKT itself, can't be read by scripts on the page (HttpOnly), and are only sent over HTTPS.
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| rknkt_sid | Keeps you logged in to your talent account | 30 days, or until you log out |
| rknkt_mfa | Remembers you entered your password, while you type your two step verification code | 5 minutes |
| rknkt_device | "Remember this device": skips the two step verification code on this browser | 30 days |
| rknkt_newpw | Lets you pick a new password after a password reset | 15 minutes |
| rknkt_oauth | Protects signing in with Google or Discord | 10 minutes |
| rknkt_social | Protects connecting a platform such as Twitch | 10 minutes |
| rknkt_admin | Keeps RKNKT team members logged in to the admin panel | 12 hours |
| rknkt_preview | Lets RKNKT team members see the website while it's offline for visitors | 30 days |
3. Browser storage
Besides cookies, two small things are saved in your browser (local storage). They never leave your device.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| rknkt-onboarding-draft | Saves your onboarding answers while you fill them in, so you don't lose them | Removed when you finish onboarding |
| rknkt-start-seen | Remembers you've seen the welcome message in your dashboard | Until you clear your browser data |
4. Other services on our pages
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and the homepage loads a scrolling library from jsDelivr. These services don't set cookies, but like any website they receive your IP address and browser details when your browser downloads the files. The contact form can use Cloudflare Turnstile against spam, which checks technical signals from your browser.
When you sign in with Google or Discord, or connect a platform such as Twitch, you go to their website for a moment, and their own cookie policies apply there.
5. Your choices
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary cookies, you can't log in. Logging out removes your login cookie, and "Log out other devices" in Settings ends your sessions everywhere else.
